(The scene Opens to the year 790 AD. A man about 40 something stands battered and broke His staff is all that keeps him standing. His wounds are obviously cause by the mountainous creature before him.)
Man:
I....c..c..can’t lose ...I mustn’t ....give...up .....
Monster:
you power is useless old man its only serves my hunger and soon this world will be weak as I drained it of all its power.
Man:
heeehee
(A glow hits the monsters eye as the man laughs. )
Man:
You say my power can’t defeat you and that is true but I will stop you will never again harm the people of Earth
Monster:
Your fooling yourself
Man:
Am I.
(A wave of magic surrounds the man growing into a giant ball claming both the man and the monster.)
Man:
You will never harm them because I will see to it you will never live again.
(The ball of magic fades from earth the scene cuts to space billions of miles away form Earth as The magical ball appears in the darkness it shines as if it was a star being reborn in the night sky. The body of both the monster and the man are frozen in a cube of ice. The scene quickly cuts to a splash of cold water on the head of one Moyria Gatent. she is sitting in a pool under a waterfall . Over in the shade of a tree on shore Moyria’s Grandfather sits playing Shoji with her companion Curcit. )
Moyria:
Brrrr.... It’s so cold.
Grandfather:
True but to endure the training of magic is a hard one. You must not let you mind wander child you must be able to adapt you body with the water and its cold tempter.
Moyria:
I know Grandfather its just I had something on my mind that’s all.
Grandfather:
You worry about your sister.
Moyria:
A little but I’m more worried about Golum if he’ s set free can I really defeat him this time.
Grandfather:
You needn’t both yourself with that now child it will come when it does, it more important that you be ready to face him when he does strike and .....
(Curcit who has been studying the board until now makes a move )
Curcit:
I win.
Grandfather:
WHAT? This can’t be.
Moyria:
Looks like I’m not the only one that needs to concentrate on what I’m doing.
Grandfather:
He got lucky that’s all.
Curcit:
That’s 53 to nothing
Grandfather:
One these days I’m going to program you to lose.
Moyria:
Oh cool off Grandpa
(Moyria splashes a bucket of cold water at her grandfather)
Grandfather:
Hey.
Moyria:
HAAAaaaaaa.......
Grandfather:
Ill teach you to splash me.
(Moyria’s Grandfather walks to the edge of the pool and grabs Moyria’s cloths and walks off)
Moyria:
Hey come back here with my cloths
Grandfather:
No chance Heehehehe
(Curcit is watching as Moyria runs out with a towel warped around her as she heads after her grandfather and thinks to himself)
Curcit:
Its almost hard to believe that she was once one of the most powerful warriors of the Moon Kingdom. Raydon how you would have loved to see how she grew up.
(His sensors pick up a distress signal from somewhere but it is quickly cut off but the guardian knew exactly who had sent that message. And he is worried Moyria may not be ready for the battle she is about to face)
(The scene opens out side the door to Moryia’s apartment Her grandfather walks into the apartment caring a basket holding Curcit. While Moyria stands in the hall staring at the door to Darien’s apartment )
Moyria:
Darien I truly hope You come back safely
(The scene fades to Darien’s apartment a few days earlier Serena is leaning against a nearby wall as Moyria is sitting on the coach drink a cup of tea Darien has a bag on his back)
Moyria:
Do you have to go
Darien:
Yes I need to go to figure things out.
Serena:
This is all your fault you know.
Moyria:
Excuse me!
Darien:
Calm down both of you.
Serena:
Why do you have to go.
Darien:
Because I need sometime to think
Moyria:
So when you be back
Darien:
I have no idea
Moyria:
I see
Serena:
Darien I still don’t understand why you gotta leave.
Darien:
(angrily) Because I need to know where to go from here.
Moyria:
So this is goodbye (Moyria sets her cup on the table and heads out toward the door )
Darien:
I guess so
Moyria:
Please return safely.
(As Moyria leaves his apartment no one speaks or sheds a tears all is quiet as she makes her way to her own apartment)
Serena:
Darien Why do you need to sort things out when you already now how things are going to be.
Darien:
There you go.
Serena:
What?
Darien:
How do we know what we saw was our future. There several destinies several different paths to different futures. I can’t stand by here and just be told how to live my life I must find out where my future truly leads.
(There is a little pause as tears grow in Serena’s eyes)
Serena:
Darien you must tell me who do you love.
(nothing is said as Darien walks toward the glass door of his balcony)
Darien:
I love you , but I will not doubt my feelings for Moyria.
Serena:
Take care.
( as Serena leaves Darien’s apartments tears run down her face. The scene changes back to outside in the hallway where a figure of the youngest tenant Toy stands looking at Moyria)
Toy:
You miss him don’t you
(Moyria is startled as she was lost in thought she didn’t hear her come up)
Moyria:
Huh . Oh hi. What did you say.
Toy:
You miss him
Moyria:
No. Well maybe a little.
Toy:
I knew it. (Taunting) Moyria and Darien sitting in a tree......
Moyria:
Stop it.
Toy:
K-I-SS-I-N-G first come love then comes marriage
(a shout form down stairs is made by the elderly tenant Will)
Will:
And next comes a gag on your mouth if you don’t shut up I’m trying to sleep.
(Toy is silenced for the moment that is)
Toy:
Stupid old goat
Will:
I heard that
(Toy runs down the stairs passing Miriam who is coming to talk with Moyria)
Miriam:
Don’t let her get to you dear
Moyria:
She won’t
Miriam:
You do miss him.
Moyria:
Well yes but only as friends
Miriam :
Sure.
(Moyria’s Grandfather sticks his head out of the apartment )
Grandfather:
AHhh Miriam its good to see you
Miriam:
You’ll hafta wait like everyone else on my brownies.
(His face gains a sour look on it as he tries to cover-up his original plan )
Grandfather:
No, you misunderstood me I wish to speak with Moyria alone.
Miriam:
Well in that case I will get out of your way
Grandfather:
Come Moyria I have something for you.
(the scene changes to an outside cafe where Mina sits with Amy and a mopping Serena, who is occupying her time by stirring her untouched milkshake)
Mina:
Oh man Amy I think she’s bummed again
Amy:
Serena, are you OK
(Serena does not acknowledging Amy talking to her)
Mina:
earth to Serena you OK
Serena:
huh
Amy:
You must really be out of it you haven’t touched your milkshake in an hour are you okay
Serena:
I was just thinking of Darien
Amy:
Oh I see
Mina:
You and Darien do something last night
Serena:
Its not like that, he’s been gone for about a week now. I was just wondering am I smothering him
Amy:
Well you do flip in a love crazed state each time you see him
Mina:
And you get jealous if he even asks a girl for directions to get somewhere
Amy:
And you always are hanging out with him in your spare time
Serena:
Okay I get your point
Mina:
what about .....
Serena:
(shouting at the top of her lungs) That’s enough
(Mina and Amy both have embarrassed looks on their face as other customers stare at Serena)
Serena:
I only hope he will come back to me that’s all
(Serena gains a sad look on her face)
Mina:
Oh come on Serena you two have been an item for centuries what makes you think he will leave you. I mean sure he kissed Moyria big deal.
Serena:
Maybe its nothing to you Mina but Darien is my guy I’m not about to lose him to some stuck up arrogant little......
Mina:
Whoa there how do you even know Moyria want’s Darien. I mean she has her boyfriend Sukura right.
Amy:
Yeah they can’t have a relationship unless both of them want one right.
Serena:
I don’t need to talk to her. She’s after him I just know it.
Mina:
If you say so Serena
Amy:
speaking of Moyria where she been all this week
Serena:
(In a low growl) Probably out with Darien
Mina:
She said she was doing some training with her grandfather to prepare her for the road ahead or some junk like that
(the scene changes back to Moyria’s apartment where she sits at her table a box is before her )
Grandfather:
Moyria inside this box is an item that will help fight Golum.
Moyria:
An item to defeat Golum.
Grandfather:
It is a magical talisman worn by your ancestors. When a life near to you needs help it will give you the power to protect that soul.
(Moyria Opens the box and pulls out a golden necklace that has one loop empty where something that once belong there)
Grandfather:
It will allow you to transform once again but it’s power isn’t complete until the missing piece can be rediscovered.
Moyria:
I can Transform again
Grandfather:
Well yes but the necklace will only work when its needed that is why I also have these for you
(He pulls out an object wrapped in a towel)
Moyria:
What is it.
Grandfather:
Open it and find out
(Moyria opens the towel to revile a golden gauntlet )
Grandfather:
with this you can call on magic to aid you but when you transform they are useless.
Moyria:
That’s great but why are you giving me this
Grandfather:
because You need to be trained in mystic ways and since your only a half mystic you must use a relic to aid you in casting spells.
Moyria:
oh please Grandfather get out of the dark ages I barely see a member of the Negaverse in a weeks time let alone get attacked in the shadows by some powerful beginning
Grandfather:
Sure say that now but just wait till you get attacked just you see (pause) Any way I’m off to get some of those brownies before their gone
Moyria:
You mean you going to snatch them before anybody else gets their hands on any
Grandfather:
(Grinning) not at all. So long.
(Moyria’s Grandfather heads out of the apartment leaving Moyria sit before the two items he left for her.)
Curcit:
Do you think that those items will truly help us
Moyria:
Knowing grandfather, I have no idea.
(Meanwhile thousands of miles away in space on board Centurous’s ship Iris looks on his captive who is being beaten by one of his minions.)
Iris:
Your pathetic Centurous. What did Geo ever see in you.
Centurous:
(coughing) You’ll never get me to free him Iris. I will fight you with every drop of blood I have.
Iris:
Oh and you will. You will. You see I know the tale of Golum ‘s prison and how it takes the blood of his captures to free him. Your blood my dear and once freed he will aid us in destroying the Sailor Scouts once and for all.
(Centurous’s face grows with hatred at the man whom she once fought along side. She feels betrayed as those who she trusted seek to destroy her and the one she thought as her enemy is the only one the misses her. The scene changes as Moyria sighs looking out her apartment window. She misses her sister. True that for years even before they both where sent a thousand in time they fought each other but little did they know that they weren’t fighting in hatred but love. The waiting has gotten to Moyria she only wishes that her sister returns safely but she knows there is no way that will ever happen. A voice cries out to her drawing her attention its the voice of the guardian Luna.)
Luna:
Moyria are you OK
Moyria:
yes Luna I was just thinking
Luna:
Your grandfather tells me that you’ve been like this all week is something wrong
Moyria:
Its quiet
Luna:
Well yes but I don’t see how that can hurt us
Moyria:
No you don’t understand. I was raised by wars I was taught to kill while others where taught how to read and write. The quiet scares me. Its like something Raydon once told me. When its quiet you it tells you nothing, but it reminds you that you are alone.
Luna:
I guess things would have been different with Serena if Raydon stayed at the place all those years instead of fighting and teaching you and you sisters they ways of war.
Moyria:
I guess.
Luna:
But enough of this I came here to ask you why you haven’t even spoken to any of the scouts in awhile
Moyria:
I guess I just need some time by myself, with Centurous taken prisoner by Iris I can’t help but worry about what will happen next.
Luna:
That’s not all you worry about is it.
Moyria:
Well um no.
Luna:
You miss him.
Moyria:
I miss just working with him and seeing his face everyday as I head out.
Luna:
Do you love him.
Moyria:
Maybe. I don’t know. I like him as a friend but maybe something more. But I can’t make him love me.
Luna:
I haven’t noticed it but know I do see it.
Moyria:
See what?
Luna:
You and Serena your two sides of the same coin. as different as night and day but at the same time you two both are the same.
Moyria:
Maybe your right Luna.
Luna:
Well why don’t we stop mopping around and go out and do something OK.
Moyria:
I guess so. Come on I’ll treat you to a tuna fish ice cream cone.
Luna:
now your talking.
(The scene changes to another apartment this one is that of Andrew but we see Darien packing some things in a bag as Andrew brings in two cans of soda)
Andrew:
So you have any idea where your headed Darien.
Darien:
No, I just hope it will be better then last week. I spent the whole day wandering around Tokyo but nothing really came to me.
Andrew:
So why exactly are you doing this.
Darien:
Well you know how close Serena and I are.
Andrew:
Yeah
Darien:
Well I found another girl and I think may just love her as much as I do with Serena.
Andrew:
So your going to travel the wilds of Japan to find out which one is the one you truly love sounds like a little too much for me.
Darien:
Pretty much thanks for the gear Andrew.
Andrew:
no problem. You should take care now
(Darien leaves Andrew’s apartment and walks alone the road toward the shadow of Mt. Fuji off in the distance in his hand he holds a notebook and a pen it is open to a page with a poem on it.)
In earth’s night sky I look up to see the moon and stars
The moon shines high as it always has watching over me
but now the stars also guard me at night lighting the empty darkness of my soul
My love reaches for both but I am denied both unless I give up on the other
But how can I deny my love for either the moon or the stars
the very thought of loosing one tears at my soul as the day tears at the night
(The scene changes to the sidewalk along the cafe where Serena, Amy and Mina. have been sitting. Moyria walks down the path with Luna on her shoulder this catches Serena’s eyes first causing her hatred for Moyria to be lashed out as she jumps out of her seat and comes after Moyria snatching Luna from Moyria)
Moyria:
Hey what’s your problem Serena
Serena:
You are. Who said you could treat Luna like that.
Moyria:
Excuse me.
Serena:
there’s No excuse for you
( the words only spark anger in Moyria)
Moyria:
Listen here Serena I don’t know what your problem is but you better watch it.
Serena:
Or you’ll do what. You lost your powers or have you forgot.
Moyria:
you need to cool of Serena.
(Moyria points her hand at a near by fire hydrant and mystically removes its top send water to come crashing out getting both her and Serena wet.)
Serena:
You and your stupid magic. Tell me is that how you stole Darien from me.
Moyria:
What?
Serena:
He left because of you or did you not know that.
Moyria:
How dare you blame me for his leaving
Serena:
You’ve been nothing but trouble since you came here.
Moyria:
I don’t have too take this.
(Moyria begins to walk away as Serena continues to shout at her)
Serena:
Darien’s leaving me, Centurous attacking us, the Negaverse, The Yarmoto Clan. There all your fault.
(Mina tries to hold her friend back)
Mina:
Calm down Serena Moyria is not our enemy.
Moyria:
No Mina she’s right.
Mina, Amy and Luna:
What?
Moyria:
Since I’m so weak Serena I end our truce. I will never again fight at your side. You can fight your own battles while I fight mine.
Serena:
Fine
Moyria:
Goodbye
Serena:
Good riddance
Moyria:
Oh and one more thing now that our truce is over that means I’m going to face you again and when I do you won't survive
Serena:
Go ahead I’m not scared of you any more Moyria.
(Moyria walks off alone into the setting the sun. As the light burns away at her soul she knows that alone there is truly no way she will survive the battle that will soon face her. Meanwhile at his camp Darien sits eating a plate of rice )
Darien:
Its getting cold out here, I wonder how their down back in the city
(a voice cries out in the dark)
Voice:
Why have you come here.
Darien:
Who’s there show yourself
Voice:
(much louder) Why have you come here?
Darien:
Who are you.
Voice:
You know who I am Prince Now Why are you here.
Darien:
Giha is that you.
Giha:
yes Prince It is I the one who gave you your power both times you have asked me but why do you seek me.
Darien:
I didn’t come to seek you I came to get some answers.
Giha:
You lie I searched your heart you came to me why.
Darien:
I came to the forest to search for the answers I have. I didn’t come for you
Giha:
Need I remind you who I am. I am every blade of grass, every rock, every creature that live on my body are each a part of me. I am the one you came looking for.
Darien:
If that’s so can you help me.
Giha:
I have already given you more than anyone child why should I help you.
Darien:
Because I need to know who to love
Giha:
That is something I can’t help you with because only your heart can answer that one. Don’t worry it will come to you in time.
(Darien Stares at the shadows where the spirit has been hiding and notices that a small puddle of blood lays at Giha’s feet)
Darien:
Blood but how.
Giha:
Its nothing child its just I’m not in as good shape as I was years ago. You see I need something from you child I need you to give back your powers I granted you so long ago.
