School Girl #1:
Hey Rei I heard that your temple is holding a festival soon.
School Girl #2:
Festivals Oh which one is it I love festivals.
Rei:
Yeah we have the annual fire festival coming up in two weeks, I am kind of busy getting things ready.
School Girl #2:
Oh tell me you have some awesome food. There.
Rei:
Well I don’t know what they will be serving but many local venders are setting up stands to help out.
School Girl #1:
Hey what about entertainment!
School Girl #2:
Well Rei should easily have that covered I mean she is a great singer after all.
School Girl #1:
Oh yeah you should totally do a song.
Rei:
Well I don’t know but maybe I might sing a song. You two will just have to find out at the festival be sure to come okay.
Both School Girls:
Okay
(The Scene switches to Rei walking down the street towards the stairs of the temple, she pauses and looks on at a car parked near by)
Rei: (To Self)
What is he doing here?
(The scene skips as Rei opens the door to the living quarters of the temple and
tries to hear the a conversation already in progress with a man and her
grandfather)
Man (Takashi):
I won’t accept this deal. She is a year from graduation and you want to do this to her now.
Gramps:
I have no choice in the matter. I was hoping time would be on her side of the matter, besides you left her in my care after Risa passed.
Man (Takashi):
I left her so she could live a life with someone to be there and let her make something of herself and now.
(Rei
loudly slides the door open and glares at the skinny grey haired man with a
thin mustache sitting on opposite sides of her grandfather.)
Man (Takashi):
Rei!
Gramps:
Oh Rei, your home already.
Rei:
I would have stayed longer had I known about the company we where having come by. (The man looks down in disgust) So ether of you want to bring me into this conversation, Grandfather (Rei looks at him and he looks down as well, Rei turns to look at the man again) Father?
Takashi:
I was deal with some business when I get a phone call from your grandfather here, about discussing your future and what will happen to this temple.
Rei:
What are you talking about the temple is fine and I have plans to go and study music at college.
Takashi:
Music? (looks at Gramps) You told me she was looking at into business school. If this is the case then I must intervene.
Gramps:
I meant to say her school work was no business of yours; you turn your back on her.
Rei:
He is right. You gave up that right when you failed to face mom in her final hours, then you leave me in grandpa’s hands for years.
Takashi:
Rei you do not understand fully what this is about.
Rei:
Then tell me what this is about. Cause for the last several years all I get from you is one visit a year and a bouquet of flowers on my birthday. Now you appear here and expect what to tell me how to live my life, while you have been too busy in the world of politics to have me in yours.
(Takashi sits with an upset look
on his face)
Takashi:
Your grandfather called me to settle issue of his estate. He wants you to take over the temple.
Rei:
What. Why are we talking about this now?
Gramps:
The doctor told me I am showing early signs of Alzheimer’s, so I ask Takashi here to help me get things in order to hand the temple over to you. I would have given it to your mother anyway if she where still here.
Takashi:
I personally feel it would be better if he sold off the rights to the temple and we used that money for you to focus on proper schooling and care for him.
Gramps:
I took care of this temple all my life I will be damned if I toss it away so some contractor can swoop in and build a new shopping mall.
Rei:
The temple is his life, why would he give it up. Besides Yuuchirou is here to help with the duties around here, it’s not like I would become head of the temple. (Both men look down in silence) Wait what you want me to be head of the temple.
Takashi:
Your grandfather feels its best you keep in charge of things around here and drop out of school after the coming final exams.
Rei:
Is this true grandfather?
Gramps:
I didn’t want to be a burden on you Rei but, I’m getting too old for all of this. Yuuchirou is a good assistant but he doesn’t have the skills you have. The same skills you gained from your mother.
Rei:
But finals are in a few weeks, you two want me to decided my future so quickly?
Takashi:
I personally think it’s a bad idea. While you may know how to keep this temple clean and handle the daily tasks I am afraid that it won’t keep the doors open.
Gramps:
And I told you Rei does much more then that around here. Why she even is directing the fire festival in a few weeks.
(Takashi scratches his chin.)
Takashi:
Very well how about a wager then, Father. If Rei is able to surpass the last years income for the festival, then I will concede and let you have your way offering Rei the temple, If not then she will use her time towards a more rewarding future.
(Gramps nods in agreement)
Gramps:
It’s a deal.
Rei:
Don’t I get a say in my own matters, here?
Takashi:
Of course, you may choose from business school or political studies, and if schooling is not your interest perhaps I should look into arranging a suitable marriage for you.
Rei: (Red in the face)
Get out!
Takashi:
Is that any way to address your father?
Rei:
No but I don’t have one of those, he gave up that right when mom died.
(Takashi stands and puts on a
hat, and begins to walk out the room)
Takashi:
The offer will stand, father. I will come by during the festival and see how it goes. Good day Father, Rei.
(He walks out the door while Rei stands with fury on her face, and turns to her
grandfather)
Rei:
How could the two of you do that to me!
Gramps:
I’m sorry Rei. I tried to keep you from worrying about this but it’s for the good of the temple.
Rei:
Geese Grandpa, if you told me sooner we might have been able to work something out. Now my choice are to let the festival succeed and give up on my own dreams or let the festival fail and be forced in fathers vision of my life he and his PR firm tell me how to live. Ether way my future is not one I dreamed of having.
Gramps:
I only want to put the temple and your name and you can just keep running things they we always do and you will have plenty of time to do what you want.
Rei:
Only I have to leave school to do it. (Let’s out a sigh) I need some time to think about this.
(The scene changes to Geo’s throne room. Where a very upset Geo sits)
Geo:
Spectral, Your last mission was a complete failure. Not only did you fail to gain the element of shadow, but you where defeated by only four of those pests even though you severally out numbered them with your small army of undead soldiers.
Spectral:
I am sorry my lord. I was not expecting that brat Andromita and Sailor Moon would team up so well. All my calculations had the two of them very much at odds with one another, I was hoping to exploit that weakness and destroy them but I over reached.
(Spectral rubs his now robotic
limb that replaced the arm destroyed when he last upset Geo)
Geo:
I was perhaps hasty to make you handle field work where you lack experience yourself, return to your lab and find me the next element. Iris you will be ready to go after this element when he discovers it.
Iris:
Of course my lord. (Iris grins and bows)
Geo:
And should you fail again Iris I will take a serious look at replacing you with someone more fitting. (Geo glances at the sleep chamber that once housed a blond woman within which now lays open and empty. Iris grits her teeth and both her and Spectral teleport out)
Metalia:
The power of shadows would have been a grand addition to my current power Geo. We must not give up on getting it back.
Geo:
The mouse Andromita has it. She may be strong but her emotions cause her actions to be blind, my queen. As we play this game with her, eventually a risk will move in her way that she can’t let go of. And when we find that risk, the trap will be set, and the element will be ours.
(The Scene changes to a large
and fancy apartment room. Where
Sayrun:
Now look her young lady a lot is at work here for the both
of you and Reyhard is going to put you both in a
situation your uncomfortable about but for the time being you two will be
living together and maybe if the heavens bless it you can find something
between you two to bring the fiction we are placing you two in to become real. (Sayrun slides the door to the
bed room shut) On your left you will find a very rare site for
(Moyria
starts to question as to why but halts herself)
Moyria: (To self)
Oh yeah they believe I come from
Sayrun:
There is a small washer and dryer in the bathroom for light loads, but as the two of you mainly in on air performances will be given a wardrobe to wear I would expect you will have to use it rarely. (Sayrun grabs to glasses of wine left in the bathroom and walks toward Moyria) Every Friday you two will have a show filmed in the kitchen where both of you both handle news items up for discussion, answer a few questions the way we will have scripted for you and we will have a celebrity show up from time to time. Bits and pieces of your time will be filmed throughout this apartment and staff services will be provided. The apartment next door is also own by us as a staging area for this one, makeup hair and wardrobe as well as a waiting room for guests and storage for some of your personal items.
Moyria:
I though I was just going to operate a camera and film
Sayrun:
The plans changed we want more male viewers for the show and you will help bring those in (Sayrun pokes at Moyria’s chest but splashes the wine in her hand on Moyria’s clothing) Oh dear, we cant have this quickly get out of that shirt, we will get you something from wardrobe till then use the bed sheets to cover up.
(Moyria
follows through with Sayrun’s orders and undresses
and grabs the bed sheets lifting them to cover her bra and chest, when suddenly
the door slides open and a half naked Darien is standing in the living room, Moyria looks suddenly, blushing and looking away as does Darien
who goes to start to redress his shirt. Suddenly a flash of light fills the
room and the two look quickly at Taka and discover the act of their undressing
was a setup.)
You guys did this on purpose, didn’t you?
Reyhard:
No hard feelings my boy. But an ad like one that pictures like this will bring
in millions of viewers to our new news program.
This whole thing is starting to sound less like news and more like reality TV.
Sayrun:
The idea is a bit of both and the two of you while covering stories as always will have a unique vision to this.
Reyhard:
We are going to expand the National news to a full hour and you two have 10 minutes to fill in making the news very exiting.
You don’t want news you just want ratings.
Reyhard:
Its how the game is played
Moyria:
I didn’t agree to this.
Reyhard:
No, no nether of you did, but you can do as we ask and make the world love you, or you can go back to being a young inexperienced reporter and an illegal foreign visitor with no job.
What, you come out with that and the Government will deport Moyria.
Moyria: (To self)
Damn Circuit screwed up somewhere on the documents.
Reyhard:
Countless people strive to be where you two are and here I am handing it to you on a platter. Now we can agree to go through with this or we can make some phone calls and one of you will be unemployed and the other deported.
(Both
We will do it, on one condition. You help Moyria become a legal citizen, so you can’t hold this threat over her again understood.
(Moyria
stands mouth agate, this time no one tries to close it)
Reyhard:
Such a gallant man, true the threat to you would merely mean you could head over to another company and likely with your looks and skills could land a job. But for Ms. Gatent it would be more of an issue, as her nationality is still in question. Very well Darien but I put it on your to get her to have a better personality for the camera then the pretty girl with her mouth open waiting for something to come in. You two may be just a fictional couple but I want real sparks. If you can’t make that happen in real life, get to where you two can fake it real well understood. Taka lets get the camera to the studio and get the PR firm on things quickly. Ms. Calvin these two are in your hands now.
(Reyhard
and Taka leave, and a very frustrated Moyria looks at
Sayrun crossly)
Moyria:
I though you where my friend.
Sayrun:
I am Moyria, I found out about
your citizenship and few weeks ago I’m sorry. Reyhard
wanted to deport you then but I came up with this idea to help you, and I felt
it be better if
We have no choice now Moyria, we need to work on things, but first we need to figure out our boundaries in this place since you and I have to live here together. And I have to make a call before that ad comes out.
(The scene changes to day later
on a bus with Serena, Amy, Mina and Lita, the girls
are chatting except Serena who seems to have her eyes fixed on something else
and that thing has her very angry)
Lita:
It’s great that we can help Rei out with the festival.
Mina:
Well some of us are a help but I don’t think we can count on somebody.
(A grumble is heard from Serena
not who keeps her stare on the object which now appears to be an ad featuring
Darien and Moyria seminude with the words “Get
Intimate with our latest news team, JSNN the first news couple coming to your
11pm broadcast.)
Serena:
I’m going to kill the two of them.
Amy:
Serena Darien told you all about it, its nothing but a complete fake.
Mina:
Yeah they aren’t even living in the same rooms, according to
Serena:
You mean the same guy that said there was nothing to worry about then this shows up on billboards and ads everywhere.
Lita:
Yeah I gotta say if I wasn’t in on
the idea that
Amy:
Well it is a complex situation and they are living together now. (Serena jerks again)
Mina:
And they do say sex sells and if it sells the news then they will be watched by a ton of people and everyone will look to them creating news of their own in the relationship (Serena jerks a third time then starts to cry)
Serena:
I lost him didn’t I?
Mina:
No Serena not at all
Lita:
Yeah I mean he still calls you every day and … and..
Serena:
That’s what I mean he is only called me, two weeks and I haven’t even seen him once or been able to come by. How do I even know if he still cares for me?
Amy:
Don’t worry Serena I’m sure he is just as worried about you too. For now we need to focus on Rei’s problem
Lita:
Yeah she has had to run the festival all on her own for hope to keep the temple open.
Mina:
It may seem like life or death to you, but Rei is in need for helping her home.
Serena:
Your right I can only deal with one problem at a time and Rei has a greater need at the moment, but that doesn’t mean I wont kick those two’s asses when I see them.
Lita: (with an uneasy smirk)
Yeah well if it comes to that point guess we will help you.
(The scene changes to the
apartment as Sayrun walks about she spies
Sayrun:
Where is she?
I wish I knew schools out but she’s not answering my call.
Sayrun:
Not your actual girlfriend, your TV one!
She said she needed some air and stepped out, what is the problem.
Sayrun:
We have to through together a test piece tonight for you two. We need ideas and we need the two of you there pronto.
Well there is a local fire festival. Guess we could head there and cover some news on it.
Sayrun:
Hmm needs more but it’s promising enough, let’s say you two have a date and in it cover the color of the festival. Are their fireworks at the end?
I guess why?
Sayrun:
A selling point, you two have to sell the segment to advertisers and we need to see some magic.
Magic, wait you don’t mean?
Sayrun:
Pucker up handsome, you want to keep this job you two need to kiss under fireworks tonight! Got it!
This is going to make things worse with Serena.
Sayrun:
I don’t care now help me find your partner to get you two ready.
(The scene changes to the
rooftop of the building where Circuit and Moyria sit
overlooking the skyline)
Moyria:
So you’re saying a new element will appear tonight.
Circuit:
Correct all data points to a temple to the east of this current location.
Moyria:
Well I will have to ditch
Circuit:
Error, Ms. Calvin has been trying to reach you about working tonight.
Moyria:
Damn, can you gain access to the element?
Circuit:
Negative the temple will have too many civilians and few accesses points for me to sneak in.
Moyria:
I can’t let Geo get another element.
Circuit:
There is a way but you may not like it Mistress.
Moyria:
And that is.
Circuit:
I think I have found a way to hack the communication of the Sailors if we alert them then they could gain the element.
Moyria:
Let them have a third one?
Circuit:
I don’t believe they know much of what the crystals do yet and it would be in safer hands should they gain it.
Moyria:
Yes but I don’t like handing them more power.
Circuit:
Then call out skip work.
Moyria:
Do you know how hard it is to avoid that? Plus thanks to some mistake on your part they figured out I am in this country illegally.
Circuit:
Error, my files are 100% factual in their duplication the only way that you where found out is if they got you to admit it.
(Moyria
gains a shocked look)
Moyria:
Damn it I should have guess, he didn’t know I was illegal, he played a bluff and I walked right in his hands.
Circuit:
We need a better location for us to gather Mistress.
Moyria:
I do not like this new living arrangements ether Circuit but till things change this is the best we have. Call the scouts, I have work. But let them know the next one is mine.
Circuit:
Of course Mistress (the door to
the roof opens and

We have to go they want us to do a segment tonight.
Moyria:

Trust me that’s not the worse part, I will explain on the way down stairs.
(The two walk off through the
doorway, as Circuit peers out from the shadows.)
Circuit:
All data says mistress may get closer to the element then originally thought. Still carrying on with the plan will be the best solution.
(The scene changes to Rei standing near a bunch of booths with people gathered
carrying stuff around, as the girls show, up)
Rei:
No the yaki soba noodles need to go to the green stand.
Mina:
Hey Rei we’re here to help out where you need us.
Rei:
Great, Lita can you help out at the food stands, Amy you and Mina help with the decorations, Serena… (Rei looks as Serena is distracted by checking her cell phone)
Serena: (quietly complaining)
I’m glad I missed you call jerk
Rei: (Louder)
Serena!
Serena:
WHAT (notices what is going on) oh sorry Rei
Rei:
Serena, take this list and check on everyone making sure things are in order, for the performers and staff.
Serena:
Okay you can count on me.
Rei:
To be safe hand it over.
Serena:

Rei:
Your cell phone, I will give it back after the festival.
Serena: (Grimacing)
Spoil sport. (Grabs the list and hands over her phone) Right so you have musicians, dancers and fireworks people.
(The group splits up and Serena
passes the disguised face of Iris working as a food vender who walks up to a
young man dressed in a blue jacketed uniform with a tied head band)
Iris:
Cotton candy sir.
Fire works guy:
Uh sorry not now miss I have to get these fireworks in line.
Iris:
Well how about you try something else just as sweet. (Iris pulls a crystal out of the cotton candy and shoots a dart in the worker’s chest) Awaken Great warrior Hanabifukurou
(The man shifts to a massive
winged creature with two cannons at its stomach and a cannon-like mouth)
Hanabifukurou:
Yes master, yes master
Iris:
Find me the element.
Hanabifukurou:
Find element, Find element
(The man flies off up to the
growing dark sky)
Iris:
Hmm perhaps this time we can get the element without interference from the brats or the mouse
(the scene switches to below the
stairs of the temple, as the car of Rei’s father
arrives and pulls in next to the News van with Darien and Moyria
getting out, Darien is dressed in a fashionable business suit while Moyria is places in a fancy dress and has her hair and face
done in a way to look far more feminine then she ever likes. She stops from
getting the heavy camera gear shes use to by a
scolding cry out from Sayrun who is shadowing behind
Taka with the gear.)
Sayrun:
No Moyria we have different gear for you starting tonight (Sayrun opens a door to show a much smaller camera and a small bag of batteries)
Moyria:
But that won’t give us the quality image the old cameras do.
Sayrun:
It’s the top quality camera gear in the smallest size we can get for you, it’s made just for you no tapes it sends a local signal direct to the van where we will record, and the batteries die quickly which is why we have the bag for you. You got maybe 30 minutes at best. Keep that in mind, but more to the point (Sayrun swing the bag around) I want you to use both straps of the bag and keep it down low (Moyria places the bag on as she says and it automatically pushes Moyria’s chest up and out to display it as bigger then it is) That’s the way we want to see it.
Moyria:
You’re purposely trying to show off my chest?
Sayrun:
It’s guaranteed money so just do as we ask.
Moyria:
Sigh, very well.
Takashi:
Hmm … A news crew didn’t think that the festival was that news worthy, maybe she can prove me differently.
(Sayrun
looks a Takashi, and her face gleams with a smile)
Sayrun:
Mr. Hino, what a surprise to meet up with a fine political figure like yourself.
Takashi:
Ms. Calvin of JSNN may I ask what it is that brings a national news crew to my families shrine.
Sayrun: (faking shock)
Your families shrine well this works out perfectly, you see we have a new segment we need to shoot for and we would absolutely love to have you join us in this showing us the family temple as the shows first guest.
(Takashi scratches his chin,
then shakes it in agreement)
Takashi:
Yes I think this would be good for my daughter future, I will show you about and let you meet my daughter and her grandfather that run the place.
(Just as soon as he finishes his
words a scream is heard from the top of the stairs. Everyone looks up to the
top of the stairs and several people come running down)
Moyria: (to self)
The element is here and so is Iris
I’m sure
Sorry girls you’re on your own this
time.
Sayrun:
Okay looks like we have more news then just the festival lets get moving, Darien you and Moyria get to a spot and start filming Taka you head to the other side and try to get a second angle. Mr Hino you can join me in the van.
(Takashi looks to the temple as
an explosion occurs.)
Takashi:
I will go with your crew to the temple. I have too much invested in this.
Sayrun:
Your choice, I’ll stay at the van and record the camera you have Moyria.
(Meanwhile at the temple, Rei is displeased at the chaos around her.)
Rei:
Why is it when ever any of us have something import the damn Negaverse has to attack.
Lita:
Rei we need to deal with this guy before he causes serious damage here.
Mina:
Let’s transform and trash this monster before he trashes the festival.
Rei:
Right!
Amy:
Mercury Crystal Power, Makeup!
Lita:
Jupiter Crystal Power, Makeup!
Mina:
Venus Crystal Power, Makeup!
Rei:
Mars Crystal Power, Makeup!
(The four girls transform to
their Sailor uniforms, and prepare to fight just as three explosions blast near
them, causing all four to dodge the blast; suddenly Serena pops around the
corner to see the others preparing to fight)
Serena:
Hey couldn’t you guys wait till I got here… Moon Royal
Crisis Activation! (Sailor Moon transforms into her
Royal crisis outfit)
Moon:
Okay Negacreep how dare you mess with my friend Rei’s festival in the name of the moon I will …. (an explosion blows up near Sailor Moon and causes her launching sideways) How rude I really am starting to dislike the monsters these days.
Mars:
Try to get the creature away from the temple and the grounds
Moon:
How about we get him to that wood pile is over there?
Mars: (With shock look on her face)
NO that’s the worse place, we loose that pile then the Fire of the fire festival will be gone. Try to get him away from the area.
All Sailors:
Right
(As they run a sudden beeping
comes from mercury’s visor)
Mercury:
A call form who?
(Without answering Circuit
breaks in)
Circuit:
A Mercury I finally got a hold of
you, I need you girls to head to a temple under… (Mercury
interrupts him)
Mercury:
We already are fighting the monster.
Circuit:
Ah very good.
Mercury:
Can you lock in the location of the element it’s after?
Circuit:
Each element can be found at a powerful source of the very element they are after.
Mercury:
The source of the element… guys I know where the element is we need to get the crystal from the monster.
(Suddenly an explosion hits near
Mercury and she has to dodge away from the group)
Venus:
We need to clear the skies, Jupiter.
Jupiter:
On it … Jupiter Thunderbolt
(Strike of Lighting hits Hanabifukurou in his wing sending him down to the ground)
Venus:
Your ground bird boy… Venus Crescent Beam Shower (Hanabifukurou is pelted by several blasts of attacks) that was easy.
(Suddenly a shot is fired and
barely misses Venus, the shot appears to have come from Iris’s parasol, Hanabifukurou runs off)
Iris:
You didn’t think I wasn’t around as well did you sailor brat.
Moon:
Iris! Guys try to keep her busy I will deal with the monster.
Mars:
Not alone you’re not!
Moon:
Mars it’s an order.
Mars:
And I choose to disobey your not alone here Sailor Moon and this place is under my protection so you and I will deal with the monster, the rest of you can handle this right!
Jupiter:
Of course
Venus:
Deal with the walking fashion disaster or deal with the mad bomber, yeah I choose fashion reject.
Mercury:
We will hold her off.
(Mars and Moon run after Hanabifukurou as the scene changes to Moyria,
Darien and Takashi walk about the path where stuff is tossed aside and some
things are spilled about, when Darien asks a tough question Takashi wasn’t
expecting before the camera is rolling on them yet Moyria
quickly jumps in as Darien begins to speak)
Mr. Hino, I have known Rei for sometime, she never talked about you nor have I seen any photos of you around, where have you been all her life?
Takashi:
You’re young and don’t quite now the players of this city, I have been busy the last few years making a better place for my daughter.
Moyria:
Yeah this kind of place! Where is the girl’s mother?
Takashi:
She has passed, several years ago. She had cancer hit her when Rei was young.
Moyria:
So you abandoned her here?
Moyria, go easy on him.
Moyria:
No. No wonder she doesn’t talk about you. She hates you, you abandoned her.
(Takashi’s face lowers) I know exactly what it means to have your father in your life, I lost mine recently, but never did he abandon me, never did he turn his back on me. You’re a disgrace of a man.
Moyria, that’s enough, I’m sure he has his reasons.
Takashi:
No, Mr. Chiba the girl is right, I maybe a great man in politics but as a father I am a failure. Maybe one day when you two have children you will understand the weight of not helping your children when they need you.
(Suddenly in an explosive move Hanabifukurou comes flying at the
group as Sailor Moon and Mars come right behind him)
Moyria, be careful but get a shot at that! Mr. Hino you said you work hard to save this city there are two of just a handful of people who are real heroes, Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars are here to save this day.
Takashi:

Moon:
Mars:
Sailor Moon focus on the explosive crazy monster please. (to self) Father you’re here too.
Harabifukurou:
You want explosives, I show you boom, I show you boom.
(Harabifukurou
aims at
Moon:
Mars No!
Mars!
(Sailor Moon,
Moyria: (to self)
Damn it I hate sitting on the side
lines on this!
Moon:
Mars are you okay?
Mars:
I’m fine… is..fa..the man okay
Moon: (turning to face the monster)
I won’t let you hurt my friends or anyone else anymore
(Mars tries to get up)
Mars:

normal self. A crystal drops at his feet and Sailor Moon picks it up)

Moon walks up to them and reaches down to lift Mars to her feet)
Moon:

(Mars
starts to get to her feet when she feels a slight tug and discovers Takashi has

(He
lets go and Moon helps Mars back through the woods)

scene changes and Rei appears before a crowd of
workers working to restore from the mess and soon Takashi walks in seeing his

Queen Serenity: (to the Prince)

(To the Princess) Serena your friend had something very bad happened, the kingdom has suffered a great loss.
